Very special late 18thC silk embroidered fabric with metallic thread measures 11 inches by 10 inches. This is a water bag cover for a high monk or lama. Original bright colors. Museum quality. Some fraying at top but colors vivid and overall in outstanding condition for a silk object almost 250 years old. Height on custom stand is 15 1/2 inches. In 30 years I've seen only one other, and it was not close to this one in quality or condition.
