Exceptional Korean Buddha, approaching 1000 years old. I am not expert enough to date it specifically, but I believe it is likely 10 to 13thC, plus or minus a century. This piece stands an incredible 12 inches tall and is remarkably heavy (plus the base is filled with lead). True museum piece. Search the internet. Please let me know if you have any comparable examples of this age in this size for sale anywhere, as I have been unable to find any comps myself. Width 3", Depth 3, height 12 inches tall. "No arms/hands-seem to be folded into robes.
