15/16thC Chinese Ming Bronze Buddha/Bodhisattva. Unusually animated posture. Most of this type stand stiffly- this piece has a grace and flow that brings him to life. Stands 7 7/8 inches tall. Loss to the crown, and may have held an implement in his right hand- otherwise complete and in excellent condition. Exceptional!!
