The Curator Of The Buddha Gallery

I have been on a journey through life that has taken me far and wide. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I received a BA and MA at SUNY @ Stonybrook. I studied in Paris and taught English in Colombia. I drifted into corporate technical sales and moved to Silicon Valley.

As my inner exploration intensified, I left the corporate world to pursue a career in Social Service. I received my MSW in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 1987 and worked in social services for the 29 years until recently retiring. My position for the past 15 years was as director of social work service for a large healthcare system in Northern California supervising 150 Social Workers and overseeing multiple programs.

While my career was extremely rewarding, my true passion is the study and practice of Buddhist meditation and collecting and study of Buddhist art. I developed The Buddha Gallery to share my passion with others.
