Gandharan Style Hardstone Ring with Buddha Head. It has an AMAZING face. The stone it is carved out of looks to be a hard stone that would have been difficult to carve and finish especially with this very fine detail.- ( 1.25"H x 1.75"W x .625D ) - 20g. I have another very closely related ring, item 9575 on my website. 20th century or earlier. Normally, I stay away from items like this, but the quality of the carving was so good, I decided to offer it as a piece of art and not as an antiquity.
