11-14th century or later Cham (Vietnam) Ascetic Figure as a stone Niche/Stele/Sculpture. Deeply Serene. Cham sculpture is very similar to Khmer, though most that I have seen tends to be more friendly and peaceful than its Cambodian neighbor. The details look to have some re-carving, which is not uncommon. This piece may be Cambodian. The main difference would be that it was made a bit further north or West of Cham in what was then part of the Khmer. Empire. 9"H x 7.5"W x 1D ) - 5.91lbs/2.680kg.
