Beautiful Ming Dynasty Kuanyin With Baby. Sculpted out of a sandstone/clay-like substance, It is severely damaged, though there are small areas where the original Statue shines through brightly. It looks to be the 16th to 17th century and to have been created by a master who put a tremendous amount of work into creating this lifelike piece of spiritual art. At this point, I would only sell it to someone I could hand it to, and do not feel comfortable shipping it. It feels solid, but I would not want to be responsible for it showing up on the other end of a trip across any part of the planet.
