Japanese Meiji patinated metal casting of a monk- I believe that this monk brought a Buddhist sect to Japan in the 18th century. Previous owner thought it was a bookend. It does have felt on the back, but the quality and feel of this piece leads me to think that it may have been made for devotion.- ( 6.75"H x 4"W x 2.25"D ) - 2.89lbs/1.310kg
