18th century Indian Hindu Bronze Bell. A beautifully made Hanuman sculpture adorns the top of the bell as a handle. It is Hanuman as the Spirit of Service. Just look at his face. The wear makes him generate loving kindness and enjoy even more than before the hundreds of hands held him over the past 250 years. From a collection of Indian bells of this type. All of the bells I saw were in near-perfect shape, with their strikers intact and what appeared to be their original handles connected to the original bell bottoms. I was fortunate to acquire four of them, which I am posting today. Sometimes, you find the statue itself without the bell or the statue with the bell without the clapper but in a very rough shape. To find it complete and beautifully worn is a rare thing- Bell including Hanuman ( 6.75"H x 4"D ) - 570g
