Superb late 18th Century silk embroidered fabric with metallic thread. Measures 11 inches by 10 inches. This is a water bag cover for a high monk or lama. Original bright colors. Museum quality. Some fraying at the top but the colors are vivid and overall in outstanding condition for a silk object almost 250 years old. The height on the custom stand is 15 1/2 inches. In 30 years I've seen only one other, and it was not close to this one in quality or condition.
