A single hair painted antique Mongolian Thangka. Although it is small in size but is one of my very finest. The thangka itself is 4.25 x 5.25 inches, and the frame is 10.5 x 11.75 inches. Custom mat and frame, museum glass. I purchased the thangka from a wealthy Mongolian collector, along with 3 other fine small pieces in the 1990s from his very best personal pieces, as a thank you for a long friendship. Custom mat and frame, with museum glass and silk matting. Exquisite. Not inexpensive for a small Thangka, but you won't find one better.
