Bronze and ancient glass Buddhist Stupa, possibly in the style of Gandara. . The sections stack loosely together. I’ve never seen another of this type other than one group of four of them that were reportedly found along with a group of 8 smaller mostly glass ones and one all bronze one.. The quality on all of the pieces is very good. The tiny Buddhas are well sculpted and the small animals are all well sculpted cast and finished. I’m unsure as to the dating or origin of these. They were reportedly found deep in cave in or near Afghanistan. I do not have other provenance. Purchased from a collector/seller who does not usually collect Buddhist items.
