Wonderful "Jambupati" style Shan Buddha from Northern Burma. Thhis is a praticulaly nice example of it's type, with very nice sculpting and casting (note the necklaces). This depiction of the Buddha is found only in Burma. Be careful in purchasing this style, as there are many very good copies these days. This is an authentic one. No damage or repairs, and an excellent deep brown patina. It is a good size at 10 and 3/4 inches to the top of the finial
