Visually compelling high quality 16/17thC Thai Ayuthaya Buddha in deep meditation, while the base beneath him literally splits apart. Currently stable, being held together with leather strips, quite heavy. A dramatic depiction of impermanence. I've seen 10's (or 100's) of thousands of Buddha images, but have never seen another bronze one split like this. ( 13.5"H x 10.5"W x 4.5"D ) - 11.30lbs
