Beautiful Chinese or Southeast Asian head of a bodhisattva- possibly Quanyin. Probably 19th or earlier, as the patina, with its gently pitted surface, as well as the sensitivity and complicity of the sculpting (note the very different sizes of the bumps on the top of its head and how they fit into each other perfectly all around the head, in a perfect flow. This was not by chance. Would look great with a custom stand. ( 10"H x 5.25"W x 5"D ) - 8lbs
