18 19th Tibet Dorje (or Dorge)-Possibly meteorite. It is inlaid with copper—iron or meteorite core. When I first saw this piece, it immediately grabbed my attention. I don't usually talk about pieces having power, but if any ritual item I've had in a long time has power, it is this one. At first, I thought it was silver gilded, as that's how it appears, even upon relatively close inspection. Upon deeper inspection, however, it becomes clear that the entire object is made of the same material (except for the copper inlay). The material is iron because a magnet sticks to it very firmly. It has other things in it, as when it is rubbed very hard and the oxidized surface is taken off, the actual Implement is a bright silver color, with pitting covering the entire thing. If you look closely inside, you can see on the back side of the prongs that they look to be the same silver-colored material As well, making it appear as if it is not something covering the surface but is what the entire object is made of. I'm not positive if the core is pure iron or if it is the same iron alloy.
I'm guessing that there are people out there who know exactly what this is. I'm happy to include any additional information or to change my description based on new information( 6.5"H x 1.5"D ) - 200g.
