Superb 18/19thC Indra is incredibly beautiful and solid-cast, of a high-quality copper alloy, probably in Nepal. Appears to have been completely gilded at one time. Some dings and has been gently cleaned at various times but the overall condition is excellent. This is one piece that cleaning has not hurt because the quality of the underlying piece is very high. The varying layers (light, dark, traces of gilding, all with a mirror-like surface) manage to come together to create a unique and beautiful surface that would be nearly impossible to fake. It is not the typical Nepalese type, which is hollow and usually cast of bronze. Domestic shipping is included, and international shipping is $50, including packing and insurance to anywhere in the world. (4.75"H x 4"W x 1.5"D) - 640g // Base: (1.75"H x 5"W) - 295g. Spend time looking into the face- You will not find one of this type nicer.
