Exceptional Korean Buddha, approaching 1000 years old (possibly earlier). I cannot date it specifically, but I believe it is likely 10 to 13C, plus or minus a century, and is remarkably heavy (plus the base is filled with lead). It's a true museum piece. Search the internet. Please let me know if you have any comparable examples of this age in this size for sale anywhere, as I have been unable to find any comps myself.
