Chinese Bronze Buddha— Song Dynasty style. Unsure of age, but possibly a period piece.. It radiates the feeling (especially in the face) the period pieces manage to convey. In every time period, all the way up to the present, emulations of earlier styles are made to “ honor, the elders”. This is different than modern fakes, which are often made cheaply to deceive, though there are exceptions). It was skillfully and simply sculpted,, and then very well cast, (4.5"H x 3.25"W x 1.25"D ) - 265g. / Base: ( 3" x 1.5") 115g.
