18/19 century Tibetan or Nepalese Lama. Exceptional example, much finer than the typical examples. Spend time looking into the face.. Might be a portrait of an actual person . Cast in a slightly different way than the majority of this type of sculpture. I’ve never had one like this before. Exceptionally expressive, has a real presence to it. Larger than most of this type 8.75"H x 5.25"W x 4"D ) - 2.69lbs. The subject is Tibetan, but possibly sculpted and cast by Nepalese artisans based on the casting style and the way the cap on the bottom seals the base.
