Very early and rare, Korean Korean bronze Buddha. Based on the open back, the casting, the sculpting, the patina, the styling, and the overall feel, it is certainly 10 century or earlier. At first, I thought that it might be Chinese, but after comparing it with related early Korean and Chinese Buddhist sculptures, I believe it to be Korean. 4.5"H x 3"W x 2"D ) - 405g / Base: ( 5" W x 2.5"H ) - 315g. It has an even, jade green, early patina. Very special offering.
