Early Korean bronze Buddha. Probably over 1200 years old, though there were emulations of this style made in later centuries. The wear, the patina, the underside, the casting style, etc. all point to an an early dating. He has an unforgettable face as the treatment of the eyes is so unique. Appears to have originally had a Nimbus or back plate behind the head. ( 5.25"H x 2"W x 1.5"D ) - 335g.
