Early style standing Chinese bronze Buddha. Possibly very early. Still doing research on this one as the more I study it the more I believe this is a valuable Buddha . The high level of detail in the robes and halo appear to be created by carving out the detail rather than casting it into the metal. This is a very uncommon and quite time consuming way of creating sculpture like this. The style is archaic and are extremely early, the dating of the figure are hard to identify. From an old Chinese family collection. They believed this to be the most valuable piece in their collection. ( 9.75"H x 3.75"W x 2.75"D ) - 1.14lbs
