Tang or later bronze Monk with vase with remains of rich gilding. Nice example with excellent detail. It looks to be a lovely early example with a face that shows good detail. This type often has the face worn. Note, the base is not included, it is shown for display purposes only. The listing includes the bronze only. From an old Japanese family collection of related miniature Chinese bronzes— all different, yet all related to each other. Most standing solid cast with small posts on the bottom.
