This animated Tibetan bronze figure is seated upon a well-cast lotus base and displays a lively, expressive presence. The raised hand gesture, bold facial features, and compact seated posture give the sculpture a strong sense of character and movement.
Traces of original polychrome decoration remain visible, including blue pigment in the hair and red detailing on the lips and facial features. The gilded surface shows authentic wear consistent with age and handling, adding depth and warmth to the bronze.
