19th to early 20th century Miniature Mongolian Buddhist painting of a dog with wings. Collected 40 years ago when Mongolia was opening to the west and it was possible to find things like this. It is part of a group of Mongolian Buddhist items I collected in the late 1980s and early 1990s as part of my personal collection. I had thought I had put my entire collection up for sale to the Buddha gallery website and into my recent auctions, but I recently discovered a group of more than 50 thatI had put away for safekeeping and then lost track of - they will now all go up for sale.( 3.75"H x 3.25"W ) x 1
