19th to early 20th century Miniature Mongolian Buddhist paintings of Folk Figure. It has writing on the back, which appears to be the name of the figure on the front. I don’t know who these are supposed to represent. Collected 40 years ago when Mongolia was opening to the west and it was possible to find pictures like this.It is part of a group of Mongolian Buddhist Training cards and small Thangkas and paintingsI collected in the late 1980s and early 1990s as part of my personal collection. I had thought I had put my entire collection up for sale to the Buddha gallery website and into my recent auctions, but I recently discovered a group of more than 50 items that I had put away for safekeeping and then lost track of - they will now all go up for sale. (The price is for the set of 1( 4.25"H x 3.25"W ) x 1
