18/19th century bronze Burmese Mandalay style Buddha. A particularly beautiful example of a style typically done in wood, but in this case cast in bronze. The reason it is typically Dunning wood is because the ornamentation and detail is challenging to do in bronze as there is so much going on. While there is somewhere in loss, it only adds to the beauty as the way it has worn is quite beautiful. It is a perfect size at a little over 9 inches tall. A perfect Buddha.- ( 9.25"H x 7"W x 4.5"D ) - 4.70lbs.
