This is an especially finely modeled and detailed Tibetan or possibly Chinese or Nepalese Buddha cast of a white metal. The face and overall figure is extremely well sculpted, especially for a 20th century piece. The detail work on the robes and on the base is extraordinary. I normally wouldn’t buy a piece like this, but it was so well done that I could not turn away from it. I’m unsure of the age, but probably mid 20th century. The best of its kind.
