A remarkable vintage/antique quartz crystal Buddha head. I have seen older and larger examples, but few as beautiful, or done with as much precision and finesse. Spend time looking at the photos and you’ll see what I mean. It’s both the technical skill as well as the ability to capture the spiritual light within. It’s also(softness) of the details, which makes the entire head look so natural and alive. You seldom come across Crystal carvings like this one that are done with such ability. It has a spiritual light shines from within. Whoever carved this was likely a devoted practitioner who carved this as part of their spiritual practice-possibly a monk or person who live a full-time religious life, though it may simply be a highly skilled artist who was able to transmit their own inner light into their sculptiures. I don’t believe this is a very early example, but it also is not new. Probably from some time in the 20th century. ( 2"H x 1.375"W x 1.25"D ) - 80g.
