Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Wonderful old Nepalese Lama or other holy figure. Looks to be early 20th century. Uncommon. Very special feel. Someone has begun to peel away the bottom plate, but discovered that there is a second (leather?) seal underneath which is still intact, and they did not go further. There are some seeds or something else inside. Collected in Nepal in the 1950's. Six inches tall.
