This is an incredible Early Ava.style Buddha. It has a delightful round face that is both baby-like, and is at the same time is extremely sophisticated and compassionate. The original base is gone, probably because someone suspected that the piece may have contained something valuable inside. It is mounted on a custom stand, and is otherwise in superb condition. This one came out of a very old and large S.E. Asian collection owned by a Chinese Collector. The actual bronze is 6 and 1/2 inches, and it is 9 inches with the base.
