Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
This is actually a PAIR of almost identical 18thC Tibetan or Mongolian 18th or early 19th C gilded bronze Bodhisattvas- very uncommon construction= extremely heavy, with separately cast bases. Out of the Bausch and Lomb estate, which had many important pieces. With a friend right now, I am pretty sure they are 9.5 inches tall.
