This is a top quality Northern Thai bronze Buddha- everything about him is first rate- casting and sculpting, surface and patina, and –most importantly- his incredible sense of serenity. One of the best I’ve ever had.This type of Buddha is especially prized by the Thai people. He is 16th, or possibly 17th century. He sits 5.5 inches tall. A bit more than many other Buddhas his size, but for very good reason.
