This is a very early style bronze Buddha. I had thought that it was from India, but it was recently examined by a renowned expert in South Asian and Himalayan Art, and determined to be from Nepal. There is the loss of the hands and the small loss to the back-plate, but otherwise in exceptional condition . Stands 3.24 inches tall, and very heavy for his size, as he is solid cast, and is ¾ in the round.
