Beautiful Tibetan wooden Buddha traces of gesso and polychrome suggest that he was originally brightly colored, probably over the entire surface. He now has a beautiful brown patina. Fine carving, with great sensitivity. Large at 11 inches tall by close to 6 inches wide.
