Item id: 1362
Delightful 11th century Padmapani- very sweet face- made even better by 1,000 years of devotion. Small, yet larger than life. Probably Tibetan, although the previous owner was a true expert in this kind of art and she felt that it might be from Kashmir. Very uncommon. Sits 4 and 7/8ths inches tall. Note the sweet little Buddha in his headpiece.
