Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Shiva, with four arms and the moon in his hear- probably the sweetest Shiva I’ve ever owned. Very well cast and sculpted. Has a face which captures a depth of serenity not usually found on this type of piece. At first I thought he was Indian (solid cast, some stylistic elements), but the base is quite typical of Nepal. Possibly from somwhere in the foothills near the border. Wonderful! 5.75" tall.
