12thC Pagan Burmese Buddha- the real thing. With typical wear from 800 years of existence, he has the feel of deep devotion. He is complete, with all fingers (right had with fingers in a subtle Mudra)- only loss is to one earlobe. Cast out of a distinctive silver colored bronze alloy often used in Pagan times. He was covered with lacquer and gilding for many centuries- the hair still is fully covered- remnants are evident in other places- this is what protected him through the ages. A powerful fellow! Four and a half inches tall.
