Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
one of a large group of antique miniature Buddhas I’ve collected over the years. This is a Tibetan or Mongolian gilded bronze of Tsong ka pa, the founder of the yellow hat sect (the Dalai Lama’s lineage), probably close to 100 years old. In deep concentration! 1-3/8" tall.
