Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
This one is Mongolian, and is 19th century. It is constructed in a wonderful folk style, with a copper repousse body, with cast arms and (large) hands, and also cast feet and finial. He does not stand on his own- I've had him on an altar happily up against a back-plate, and he stands in a very solid and stable way. I've not had one like him before. A nice size at just over 7 inches tall.
