Very uncommon pair of lion-form bronze end pieces for an elaborate sedan chair for an extremely wealthy or royal person in 18th or 19th century India. It is unusual to find one of these, especially so lively, well-detailed, and in such good condition. It is very rare to find a matched pair. Each is 5.75 inches long x 3.75 inches tall.
