This is a spectacular old Burmese lacquer Buddha from the Arakan region. He sits 30 inches tall by 20 inches wide by 11 inches deep. He came to the US close to 50 years ago with an Ex-diplomat who had been working in SE Asia, and had remained in storage for most of that time (this is in part what accounts for his outstanding condition). He was not new when purchased, and probably approaches 100 years old. Has a bit of the usual cracks and other minor cosmetic dings, but overall is in super shape, with no losses or repairs. He is very large for regular mail, but can probably go oversize FEDEX ground. If he needs to be crated, shipping will be much higher. Please check for shipping specifics. Wonderful!!
