Very uncommon item- I believe this may be a Pyu black stone Buddha. It was reportedly excavated from under a ruined Stupa out in the jungle in central Burma close to 30 years ago where it was found in a chamber sitting upright. ago I’ve seen nothing else quite like it, and am still looking for references. At first I thought it might be a fake. The source it came from was excellent, and the way it was carved along with the intense feeling it exude all suggest that it may very well be the real thing. 4.5" t
