Truly distinctive - this is an extremely early Lao Buddha with a very strong presence. He is solid-cast out of an alloy which appears to have some precious metal in it. He looks to be extremely early, of the earliest of Laos Buddhas. I believe this is so because of the solid casting, the lack of a base, the square flat shape, and the overall feel. I've only seen a few of this type in 20 years of collecting. 6+ inches tall.
