Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Highly unusual Tibetan stone sculpture of a protective deity. Looks to have good age. Came to me from an excellent source as 18thC, but I do not know how to date a piece like this reliably. extremely well carved. 6.5" tall. I have the wood piece to cover the bottom, and it will be in place when shipped to the new owner. It is not in place in the photo showing the bottom of the item.
