This is a Post-Pagan Buddha from the 14th or 15th century. It is from a period in which not many Buddhas were produced. It has echoes of the Pagan smile, as well as some Pagan features in the distinctive shape of the head. In very good condition, with no damage. Some of the original lacquer and gilding remains. The casting is generally not refined on Buddhas of this type. It sits 5 inches high
