Wildly dancing Citipati- a personification of the impermanence of life. LArge at 12.75 inches wide by 15 inches tall. Quite rare, and extremely compelling. Early 20th century- a good possibility that it was inside a large wooden Gau box. Carved in wood low relief and polychromed.
