The best of my collection. A large and fine 18thC solid cast Buddha from Sri Lanka. This type in this size and quality is extremely rare. Extremely heavy- looks and feels like it has a good amount of precious metal in the alloy. Traces of original gilding. The stylized spiky lotus petals on the top of the base are a unique feature. This is on par with the related pieces in the Guardian of the Flame collection. A full 15 inches tall. This one is expensive.
