This is one of my favorites: it is an extremely joyous Buddha, probably from Cambodia, although it has features of Laos Buddhas, and is hard to place with certainty. It is quite early, and is very thickly cast. It has the quality of the best folk art, with both a simplicity and sophisticated depth at the same time. It is 4 and 1/2 inches high. This is one of the sweetest Buddhas I have had in a long time
